Owner. Programs every block. Former DI distance runner who pivoted to strength after a tibial stress fracture. Wrote the FORGE method.
FORGE is a real strength-and-conditioning gym. Block-periodized programming, in-person form-checks every set, and a coach roster that has averaged a 9-year tenure at this address. No franchise warm-handoffs. No 47-step beach-body cleanse. Just the work.
Most boutique gyms in Denver are choreographed group fitness. A music playlist, a calorie target, a body-comp pitch. FORGE is a strength-and-conditioning gym for adults who care about getting measurably stronger over the next twelve months and the next twelve years. The four columns below are the floor of the program — every coach, every class, every member.
Block-periodized strength + conditioning written by our head coach. Mondays are not "leg day." Each block has a target adaptation — strength, hypertrophy, peaking, restoration — and the work is structured to deliver it.
Every set, every member, every class. Coaches carry whiteboards and walk the floor. No "queue up at the squat rack and we'll glance at you." If your form drifts, you'll know inside one rep.
Brand-new lifter, post-rehab return, masters-class veteran — every workout has a documented scale. Nobody sits out, nobody fakes the prescribed weight, nobody pretends the workout was for everyone.
We don't manufacture community. We program well, hire coaches who like adults, and the community shows up because hard work in front of other people is rare. The 6 AM class has been the same nine humans for four years.
Every coach on this roster is a W-2 employee. None are 1099 contract trainers. They earn salaries, not session counts. They program your work. They check your sets.

The floor is a tool, not a showroom. Twelve dedicated lift platforms, twenty competition barbells, a Concept2 fleet that gets calibrated quarterly. No mirrored cardio wall. No loud TVs. No franchise scent diffusers.
The mobility room is glassed off and quiet. The locker rooms have tile that doesn't look like a hotel pool. The floors get re-rubberized every 28 months. Members notice these things, even if they can't articulate why a gym feels right.
Six members, named, with verified body-comp tests and lift progressions. No cherry-picked twelve-week shots, no app filters, no ozempic.

No annual contracts. No initiation fees. No cancellation games. Pause for an injury, vacation, or work travel — your account holds; you don't lose progress.
Visiting Denver? Single class on the regular schedule.
All classes, open gym, full programming. The membership 88% of members buy.
Coach-built individualized program for masters powerlifting + Olympic lifting.
Locked rate for life. We open four founders memberships per quarter.

Dani opened FORGE in 2014 in a 4,800-sqft warehouse off South Broadway. She'd just left a corporate-fitness job after watching her members get pushed through a sales funnel for fourteen months and then ghosted. She bet her savings that adult lifters would pay for a real coach if you actually showed up and coached them.
Twelve years later, FORGE has expanded twice (the current 12,000-sqft floor, opened 2021, runs the original block-periodization method). Dani still programs every block, still teaches the 6 AM strength class, still tests every new coach hire on the platform.
No. The intro week is built for total beginners. Coaches scale every workout, walk you through every lift, and don't move you to weighted reps until you can demonstrate the unweighted pattern.
We do, but rarely as a long-term solution. Most members benefit more from coached group classes than from 1:1 sessions. We offer 1:1 onboarding for the first three sessions if you'd like extra time on the basics.
Yes. $28 per class, walk-in or reserved. Out-of-town members at affiliate gyms get free drop-in for one week.
No. FORGE is an adults-only training environment. Members may bring children to the lobby during open-gym hours but not to coached classes.
Several of our members are post-knee-replacement, post-hip-replacement, or returning from a major orthopedic procedure. Coaches scale and modify every workout. Bring your PT release; we'll work with it.
No. We do not sell anything in the lobby. We do not have an MLM revenue line. We do not endorse cleanses. The only thing for sale at the front desk is a coffee.
Cancel any time, no fee, no questions. Same-day cancellation is fine. We'd rather you leave honestly than stay annoyed.
Free lot adjacent. Bike racks indoors. Light Rail (Alameda station) is 0.4 mi.
Show up, take a class, lift the bar. If we're a fit, we'll talk membership at the end of the week — not before.
